7 Million for Affordable Housing!!!!NLP has been awarded a $7,000,000.00 Capital Magnet Fund Grant!!!!!! This grant is not only considerably large in volume, it's massive in the amount of impact that we can make not only in our local community but in Georgia communities as well. Neighborhood Lending Partners is a certified CDFI, and lending consortium of banking institutions that facilitate private investment for community revitalization and neighborhood preservation. NLP provides flexible financing for affordable housing and community development. Capital Magnet Fund was established in 2008 to create and preserve affordable housing for low-income families and economically distressed communities. They are used to develop, rehabilitate, preserve, and purchase affordable housing, particularly housing targeted to Low-, Very Low-, and Extremely Low-Income families. In addition, Opportunity Finance Fund awarded NLP a $500,000.00 loan and an administrative grant from Finance Justice Fund. As a part of Opportunity Finance Network, the Finance Justice Fund was created to invest capital in Economic Opportunity and close the racial wealth gap and accelerate serving, rural, urban, and Native communities experience disproportionately high rate of poverty and disinvestment. NLP will be utilizing this money to fulfill our mission, "provide flexible, innovative, and solution-oriented financing and services that renew and rebuild inclusive and sustainable neighborhoods."
