Mission

The Florida Minority Impact Housing Fund's (FMIHF) mission is to provide loan programs and products for the development of affordable housing devoted to low and moderate income families in minority communities and to increase the capacity of Florida based minority led non-profit housing developers. The Fund will be dedicated to minority and under-served neighborhoods throughout Florida.

Launch of the Florida Minority Impact Housing Fund and groundbreaking ceremony of Beacon Homes!

Beacon Homes, a newer housing development, will begin construction soon for up to 13 new units along N. 34th Street and E. 28th Avenue in East Tampa. The homes will have three or four bedrooms, two baths, a front porch and attached garages. This is a joint project with the Tampa Housing Authority. It is financed through the City of Tampa and the Florida Minority Impact Housing Fund (FMIHF), which helps revitalize communities across the state.
